The IVDK from 1988 to today The Information Network of Departments of Dermatology for recording and scientific analysis of contact allergies (IVDK) was founded in 1988 as a multicentre project with the participation of initially 8 university skin clinics in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Background
About 20% of the population has a contact allergy. In the course of a 7% of the population will develop allergic contact dermatitis.
